In my experience trades can be a challenge especially when they need to be working while I am operating my business. The most common breed of painter seems to be one who insists on loud music and comes to work sloppily dressed or even wearing a white painters uniform which may or may not be dirty. That isn’t a good fit for me. But to my delight the Kassel painter who worked for me recently was anything but that. Quiet, clean and tidy and respectful and a pretty good painter too. He was also resourceful with getting the right paint for the job – I had lots of the wrong paint! But without making a big deal of it he bought the right product and got to work . I was so impressed that when I saw another job that I could have chosen not to do (as I have in the past with other painters) I decided to invite them back. It was short notice and I had a tight time frame but I got taken care of on Saturday no less. He arrived exactly when he said he would and finished when he said he would. I am a happy and satisfied customer and I’ll be a regular customer of Kassel Painting from now on. Thanks James and Peter!

The house was constructed in 1972, and has cedar siding over every inch of it. Peter helped me select the best quality stain to give my home a fresh new look. His knowledge of the longevity of the stains proved true, as my home still looks great eight years later. Was a busy time for Jenn and I with the closing, etc, and your patience while I sorted things was much appreciated; as were your recommendations when we finally met up. And Sabi’s been absolutely amazing. Took about 5 minutes after meeting him to come to realize just how much passion he has for his work and how much he cares about his clients and their needs. That he mentioned major drywall repairs doesn’t surprise me, pretty clear he wants it to look flawless and I’m sure that’ll help. I don’t think it’ll be necessary, and agree some art on the flat finish will make it look really good; though from what I’ve seen it already looks really really good, so I’m really not concerned in the slightest. I would use this company for any work I have – Vancouver Painters….. I used Kassel Painting to paint my very tall duplex in Strathcona. The wood has seen better days and a portion where the sun is intense peeled. I do not live in Vancouver any more so did not see this within the year warranty. I called Peter and he had James Wood, the painter who did the job, meet with me. Peter then got back to me and offered a compromise that I felt was fair. Both James and Peter were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I have owned a number of rentals over the years and good honest Vancouver painters are hard to come by.
